Director

David Manley

David had the good fortune of being selected for Law Officers training and being appointed as a Law Officer whilst completing his National Service. Thereafter, he completed his legal studies through UNISA part-time whilst touring Europe, working (inter alia as a ski instructor) in Austria and Germany, navigating the Orange River, working as a tree feller and more. Upon completing his articles of clerkship, David joined Weavind and Weavind Inc in 1997 and became a director in 1999. In 2016 he resigned his directorship of Weavind to open his own practice – Manley Incorporated. David is a keen canoeist and runner, having completed both the Comrades marathon and the Duzi canoe marathon (Duzi Rat10+) and was a member of the first team to navigate the Orange River in K1 canoes from Mont-Aux-Sources to Alexander Bay (2,600km). David is married to Enza and they have four beautiful children.
